Clear terms.
No hidden renewal trap.
These terms cover the Charlie's Tips website, emails, free publications and proposed paid membership.
Effective date: 11 August 2026. Last updated: 11 August 2026.
1. Business and eligibility
Charlie's Tips is a registered business name of Thomas Glover, ABN 78 654 009 376. By subscribing, creating an account or purchasing membership, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old.
2. What the service provides
Charlie's Tips supplies NRL analysis, selections, probability estimates, commentary, historical scorecards and related educational content. The exact paid inclusions, price and billing period will be displayed before purchase.
Publication timing, features and format may change for legitimate editorial, operational or legal reasons. We will not make a material detrimental change to a paid plan without reasonable advance notice and a penalty-free opportunity to cancel.
3. Analysis, not a promise
Content is sporting analysis and opinion. It is not a guarantee of a match result, betting return or profit, and past accuracy does not predict future results. It is not personalised financial, gambling, legal or other professional advice. Charlie's Tips does not accept or place bets, hold wagering funds or operate a bookmaker. You remain responsible for any decision to gamble.
4. Accounts and communications
Provide accurate information and keep account access secure. Tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised use. We may send messages needed to administer a requested service or purchase. Marketing messages require consent or another lawful basis and include an unsubscribe control.
5. Subscription, billing and renewal
A paid membership renews automatically for the billing period and at the price shown at checkout until cancelled. Stripe will process payments. Taxes, if applicable, will be disclosed or included as required.
Cancel any time without a cancellation fee. Cancellation stops the next renewal and access normally continues until the end of the already-paid period. Use the available account or billing control, or email hello@charliestips.com.au. Keep the cancellation confirmation.
If we propose a price increase, we will give at least 30 days' notice before it affects a renewal. You may cancel before the new price applies.
6. Refunds and Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
For a major failure with the service, a consumer may cancel and obtain a refund for the unused portion or compensation for reduced value, and may be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. For a non-major failure, we may first have a reasonable opportunity to fix the problem; if it is not fixed in a reasonable time, the consumer may cancel and obtain a refund for the unused portion.
In addition to statutory rights, the Charlie's Tips launch policy is:
- request a refund of your first membership payment within seven calendar days of payment;
- the goodwill refund is limited to one per person or household and returned to the original payment method;
- later renewals are not change-of-mind refundable, but duplicate charges, billing errors, unavailable service and requests covered by law will be addressed; and
- cancelling does not by itself create a retrospective refund for an already-supplied period.
Email hello@charliestips.com.au with the account email, transaction date and reason. Never send full card details.
7. Intellectual property and personal use
Unless stated otherwise, Charlie's Tips owns or licenses its original content, design and analysis. Membership gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access it for private use. Do not republish, resell, scrape at scale, share paid access, remove attribution or use the service or model outputs to train another commercial system without written permission. Rights provided by law remain unaffected.
NRL, club and third-party names or marks belong to their respective owners. Descriptive references do not imply endorsement or affiliation.
8. Acceptable use
Do not interfere with security, attempt unauthorised access, submit malicious material, impersonate another person, misuse another subscriber's access or use the service unlawfully.
9. Availability, corrections and links
We aim to publish to the stated schedule but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Team lists, injuries, conditions and other inputs can change. We may correct factual, calculation or publishing errors while preserving the integrity of locked public performance records rather than rewriting selections after the event.
Third-party links are provided for context. We do not control third-party services, odds, offers, privacy or availability.
10. Suspension and ending access
We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach, fraud, security risk, unlawful use or non-payment. Where reasonable, we will explain the issue and provide an opportunity to fix it. Immediate action may be taken for an urgent security, safety or legal risk.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Charlie's Tips is not responsible for losses caused by relying on predictions as certainty, a user's wagering decisions or third-party services outside our control. This does not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees.
12. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms for legal, security, operational or product reasons and will show the effective date. For a material change that disadvantages paid members, we will provide at least 30 days' notice where practicable and allow cancellation before it applies.
These terms are governed by Queensland law without limiting non-excludable rights available where you live.
Questions, cancellations, refunds and complaints: hello@charliestips.com.au or PO Box 331, Ipswich QLD 4305, Australia.
